"Cindy" and Co. kick in my door, steal my computer and almost get away with it.....

last night at about 7:00 as I walked along Lake Merritt, my phone rang and it was a fellow resident informing me my room at the Lodge was being ransacked.... I returned quickly only to find my door had been kicked in, my two chihuahuas frigtened to death and my Digital Recorder and Computer missing

Low income residents of Oaklands historic Merrit Lodge still in the dark as to their situation...

after a month of what can only be described as "terrorist tactics" including the use of armed security forces used to frighten residents, the current occupants have still not been informed as to what the owner has in store for the building....

Fire escapes are locked and inaccessable!

as of July 14th, the fire escapes on the second floor are not only locked, but the doors leading to the fire escapes have been replaced with "NO KNOBS ON THE DOORS!"
